Distinctive Street Rods Manufacturer of a brand new, all steel 1932 Ford 3 window coupe. The Deuce is produced in Detroit from all-new tooling, featuring virgin steel. The coupe features a 2 1/2" chopped top, with larger chops available, a filled roof, filled cowl vent, a flat floor which includes a transmission tunnel, a raised flat trunk that accommodates big Ford rear ends and your luggage. It also has a welded-in recessed firewall that accommodates big block and vintage engine combinations, an original gas cap notch and modern hinges and Double Bear-Claw latches. It also has a flush mounted windshield and authentic body reveals. The coupe comes with the doors and deck lid factory-fitted for consistent gaps. The internal features include a welded steel toe board, steel garnish moldings, steel internal supports (absolutely no wood), and the inner doors accept Specialty Power Windows.

Distinctive Street Rods is a full service street rod shop, specializing in metal fabrication in both steel and aluminum. We are very adept at roof chops and fills, sectioning and channeling. We can patch or duplicate virtually any metal part on any car.

Distinctive Street Rods builds custom chassis for any application in either tube or box construction. Suspension and drive train are the customers’ choice. We are happy to build stainless steel (SS) exhaust systems, as well as SS hard lines, SS fuel tanks and custom-made SS line clamps.

We do all our own woodwork in-house also. We can replace any rotted or missing support or panel. We do not need templates, as all pieces are custom made. We have restored fire damaged woodys to show winning condition.

Our forte is our paintwork. Every car coming out of our paint booth is perfect. Thousands of people saw our 1937 Ford woody tubular chassis at the 2000 NSRA Nationals. Most, when told the chassis was painted, not powder coated, were amazed. Even our competition came by to compliment our finish and paintwork! We have already received several orders for chassis based on the quality of both our engineering and our paintwork.

Distinctive Street Rods realizes not everyone wants or needs a scratch-built car. Small jobs receive the same attention to detail as our turnkey projects. We are equally comfortable with metal or aluminum panel fabrication and body building, and we will be happy to discuss your project, whether it entails a completely scratch-built car, or a modification to the car you presently have. The "Full House" Roadster required a special 5-piece hood with eight flared holes to accommodate its exhaust system.

We'll be happy to create a fully-independent, state-of-the-art chassis for your car. Adjustable height airbag suspensions, polished stainless tubular a-arms, and rack and pinion steering are elements we can incorporate on your car. A completely custom-fabricated tubular chassis can be constructed for any car, or we can utilize your existing chassis platform. The only limits are in your imagination.

A custom built car should be capable of a cross-country excursion without problems. Every car we build is capable of taking its owner on long trips while keeping its driver and all occupants as comfortable as possible. We pay extra attention to ergonomic elements such as seating and controls layout. We are happy to build a wide spectrum of street rods from the basic street rod to the addition of luxury amenities such as power accessories, air, tilt, and cruise control.
